My whole life I have had a camera in my face from my wonderful mama taking me and my sister's pictures and boy did she have us "trained" to look and smile! I always loved looking through all of her albums and let me tell you, there were a LOT of albums! Seeing pictures of us and getting to see old pictures of family that I didn't get to spend much time with or ones I never met made me feel like I was a tad bit closer to them.
My goal is to create that feeling for your children and their children for years to come! The world we live in is very digital, and while that is great sometimes, I want to bring back that feeling you get when looking at an album or seeing beautiful family pictures displayed in your home.
Investing in that is one of the best things to carry on your family's legacy!

About Danielle
I have been a Cherokee County native my entire life and I love seeing the growth of our community. Growing up I feel like I always had a camera in my hands. I started to realize the importance of freezing moments and wanted to help others with that goal. I began with family and friends and everything grew so quickly that Southern Ember Photography was born.
Once I was fully invested in my craft I started thinking about what my clients and me were doing with their images. If they were like me, I had most on my phone or computer but I never had quality wall art and never fully appreciated the value in that. I loved looking at albums but never got them printed SO I started looking for ways to assist my clients in that process so that their children can have tangible memories and not just pictures on a phone or computer.
